EVENT COORDINATOR / MANAGER (FULL-TIME)


DESCRIPTION

The Iota Club is seeking to hire full-time event coordinators/managers to join our Boston team. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate all event details from start to finish
  • Assist with club services
  • Assist with new event ideas
  • Define company brand through events
  • Hire, train, and educate new employees on company event matters
  • Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary
  • Research/book venues and negotiate fees
  • Manage Sponsorships
  • Prepare invitations and send out at appropriate time
  • Hire bartenders and wait staff
  • Assist with promotion and marketing of special events
  • Ensure day of event goes smoothly
  • Plan menus, order food, and hire chefs or caterers
  • Analyze event performance and prepare metrics presentation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • MS Office proficiency

START DATE: 2017 Flexible

COMPENSATION: Very Competitive
